ANT San Diego T-Shirt design
11 x 14
Bristol Paper
Copic Markers/colored pencils/digital media

This is a piece that was done for one of the “Aids to Navigation” Units out of San Diego. They work in mucky and murky conditions while making sure that the traffic lights of the seas are in operation so that ships don’t run aground, or into each other as they enter a busy port.

Each Unit has a “seal” or “;patch” as well as a “t-shirt.” These symbols are for team moral. So I was hired by a member of this unit to create their t-shirt for this year. It was a blast to do. They had an excelent idea for me to work with and this is where it ended up. I hope the guys dig it!

I love this! The giant squid is always awesome and automatically makes any piece of art an instant masterpiece, plus as a San Diego girl I will make sure the mobile cocktail service makes many extra trips to you! (And I swear I am STILL going to call you guys so we can go out to dinner) Anchors Aweigh!!

Awesome! And it has that retro 1950's scifi movie poster feel to it. I love it.

Great piece of work Gat, I really dig the vintage look and feel. Plus the bottom caption just seals the deal.
VERY nice Cat. Although you have used the idea of vintage before, you have done magic here by doing something totally different.

I love the concept and fell over reading the copy.
As always perfect art my friend.

Cheers as always for sharing!

Splendid work! :)

On one of my many deliveries down to the docks, I was reminded just how dangerous these people have it ... the ones who keep the waters safe for navigation, who keep the buoys in place, and the ones who do the job that NO ONE wants to do! While I was down there at the dock, delivering some specs and plans to the habormaster, one of these fellows comes out of the garage, showing this sea monster! Oh, to you guys it was just a two foot wide crab of some sort ... to me, who is scared to death of these things, it might as well been something from "20,000 Leagues Under The Sea"!

I love EVERYTHING you do Cat!
Fantastic design! :D
