Oh man, I love these, they really bring back some great memories You are Amazing Thanks so much for sharing your talent, and ya gotta laugh at the twelve year olds that leave the ugly comments.... Keep it up Dude, You Rock!!!
meh..he has been posting like that for a while now..not sure why or what I did to him but whatever. I said my peace..he probably won't get it. I am chalking it up to him being young and cocky.Again..whatever.
go for it. and yeah i got your note. i nit pick your stuff and rip it apart because it seems like you spend so much time into getting the shading and coloring down and yet you forget something as simple as lining up your eyes.
idont care if you have your degree or whatever. i dont care if your leonardo da vinci, i have my opinions and i will always be brutally honest about everything
maybe you should take into concideration that the project involves 300 individual drawings all done between 15-30 minutes each. Again..I don't need art lessons in protraiture from you. I did not ask for them either. Maybe one day you will learn that a human face is NOT semetrical. Not everything on every person "lines up". That said, I am not going for perfection.. I am going for likness and I got that. It is impossible to get perfection when working by hand. I am not defending mistakes I am saying they happen and they become part of the art. If it is glaring and takes away from the overall..then I will take my time and correct it but what you have brought up here is not worth it for this particular project. Are there some projects I would love to go back and change..yes. Are there some I like more than others ..yes. But I don't need to be told what is wrong. Especially when all you can come up with are "brutally honest" nit pick comments. That tells me you are never going to be satified and will always find something to complain about.
I have been doing this longer than you have been alive and I have come to terms with not every portrait, especially on a project like this one where time is a great factor, is going to be perfect. The sooner you learn that the sooner you won't come off as an arrogant know it all.
As for Tarkin.. I think it lines up pretty well for a 2.5 x 3.5 inch, 30 minute, drawn by hand on trading card stock, portrait. [link]
