Wow..I can actually show something I have worked on...go figure

I was asked to do a pin-up for Mike Oeming's "Mice Templar". My job was, oddly, a human character pin-up. I was asked to create a young King Arthur.

"In the back of each issue of Mice Templar, Tim Daniel writes up an essay I guess you can call it about references we make in that issue to Mythology- issue three will feature the master/student. We have guest artist do non-mice pin ups to go with it. Heres a sneak peak for the boards!"-Mike Oeming

This is the first time I've really taken the time to browse through your gallery at length. This caught my eye... I really love it. He look so solemn for a little boy. Beautiful work, instant :+favlove:.

I honestly think you're the best artist to tackle a story like this. Especially your use of soft colors. Really brings out a ton of emotion in this piece.

this piece is simply stunning, poor young arthur, to have the weight of the world on your shoulders at such a young age... you captured that emotion so beautifully here. Maybe it's cause I'm the dad of a young child, but this piece almost moved me to tears. ** standing ovation **
